Im getting acupuncture today?
Will i have to take my clothes off? All of them?I dont mind, its just ive never had it before, so i dont know what to expect. Plus its a man doing it, so i just wanted to check first...
Have you tried acupuncture?
no cream, painkiller thus far has eased the muscle pain i get in my arms from working. somebody has suggested acupuncture... i might try it as the last resort, but would like to know if you've tried it and if it has worked for you...cheers...
How might a person test the effectiveness of alternative therapies (e.g. acupuncture)?
Whenever I think it over in my head, it sounds very difficult, because I can't for the life of me figure out how you would have a control placebo group. My only initial thought is that you would either put the needles in at different places which may not be very wise , or maybe put needles in at the right places, but not to the full depth.Is this do able? Would this work as an experiment?

i see a natural path doctor for a few issues i have.. some anxiety and depression.my doctor has given me the option of having acupuncture done. he told me about it a little bit, showed me some of the needles he will use. he told me that it will probably help me to feel better in some areas, but im very nervous.i am quite afraid of needles, no matter the size. i also have a HUGE imagination, and i don't like the though of needles going into my skin. it just makes me nervous.so i was wondering if anyone knew anything else about acupuncture that they could share with me? anything AT ALL would be helpful.thanks.
Nose piercing with acupuncture?
I went into a shop and he said a nose piercing is 10 and they do it with an 'acupuncture' gun. Kind of like a ear piercing gun And there's no backing on the stud. But I heard it isn't sterilised and that it can hurt like hell. Shall i get it done at a piercing shop or just get it with an acupuncture? lol. Thanks x
Question about acupuncture for fertility?
Which points did your acupuncturist insert the needles? Mine put needles between my thumb and index finger vicinity, not exact , another one closer to my wrist, one between the eyes for stress she said , two on each leg along the inside of the calf and 2 around each ankle. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I am just curious about the different points different acupuncturists use. Skep Doc, I think you are rude and abrasive so I am blocking you. Not that you care since you think you are so much better and smarter than I am, but I just wanted to let you know you aren't going to get to this " fool" that you claim the world is over run with.

If so for what? and what was the effectiveness?I have been thinking about having it done. However my insurance doesn't cover it and it can get rather pricey. I intend to shop around.
Is it possible to make hair less oily with acupuncture or herbs?
I have a very oily hair I have to wash every day for it too look clean . I am wondering if Eastern Medicines can help in making it less oily. Ideally, I'd like to wash 2 times a week. Anyone, can advice or point out an herb, herbalist or other natural system to make it less oily. I am looking for an advice on how to achieve internal change, I'm well familiar with home remedies on how to help hair be less oily. But I'm wondering if it is possible to influence with herbs my hormones which are responsible for the oil production. Thank you
Acupuncture points for anxiety?
My guardian thinks i have anxiety fear nervousness and i either need to do acupuncture or medicine, problem is i practically have a phobia of needles...... and i canNOT go on medication. so does anyone know what points they'd use for this?
