Acupuncture

Question: Nose piercing with acupuncture?

I went into a shop and he said a nose piercing is £10 and they do it with an 'acupuncture' gun. (Kind of like a ear piercing gun) And there's no backing on the stud. But I heard it isn't sterilised and that it can hurt like hell. Shall i get it done at a piercing shop or just get it with an acupuncture? lol. Thanks x

I wouldn't go for the gun,that sounds a really odd way to pierce your nose lol. When i got mine done i went to a piercing shop and they used a needle,and numbed it.

I would go to a piercing place or tattoo parlor to get your nose pierced. It is painful and your nose can get scarred if you pierce it with a gun. It scars the tissue. I got my nose pierced at a tattoo parlor with a needle and it never got infected and it wasn't unbearably painful. So that's what i recommend.

Do NOT get the piercing done with a gun.. It CAN hurt like hell, and it isn't properly sterilized. It can also shatter the cartillage in your nose. if a place will pierce your nose for £10, then it sounds like a crappy, cheap place (like clair's with ear piercings) Go to a proper place, you'll pay £20 on average ,but get it proffessionally with a needle. If where you went to CLAIM to be proffessional, then they are a bunch of liars and should be shut down. I'm a trainnee piercer, and i know for a fact that guns ARE ONLY acceptable on LOBE piercings.
