Massive pain after acupuncture?
after about 5 minutes of acupuncture for my back and for hours later massive pain is felt throughout my entire back. I have several discs in my lower back out of line with bulging nerves in between them. The acupuncturist places needles in my neck ankle spine and only about 2 3 where the actual pain is, is this correct and is pain normal afterwards?
Regarding these acupuncture-and-herbs city "shops"...?
Does anyone here know whether the " doctors" in them are registered? I know they're not medical doctors, but has anyone been able to claim back fees from BUPA etc.I'm talking about the shops where they charge your credit card for 8 or 10 sessions before you start not your traditional acupuncture clinic.

What is acupuncture? Does it help in inch-loss?
I have been following a healthy diet and jogging for 45 mintues per day, 5 days a week. I am losing weight on the weighing scale but there is no visible inch loss.A friend recommended going in for acupuncture using needles.Is it a safe method? Does it really work? Please help. My friend's dietician uses Chinese needles for acupuncture. She has claimed to have lost 7 kgs in the same manner. Is it really possible?

TTC: Acupuncture, Red Raspberry Leaf Tea....and now light bleeding at cd22?
I just had a failed IUI cycle last month femara and Ovidrel shot . This month I decided to try acupuncture and start drinking red raspberry leaf tea. I usually have a 27 28 day cycle and when AF comes, it starts off brown for 1 day and then full flow. This current cycle, I started light pink bleeding on cd 22, today is cd 23 and i thought that it was going into full flow but now it's back to this very light bleeding. I don't know if this change in my body is from coming off the hormones from the failed IUI cycle, or if it's from the acupuncture RRL tea. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this after coming off fertility hormones or from acupuncture. Thanks
